The shop in Zwolle often has some good halfs, but I haven't been to any of the others.
There's one where I live, I've been in and they do have some good wines there, as well as a good selection of Halves.

Won't be stock the cellar till summer, as we need to put flooring in and ensure its well sealed, I don't want to do that in winter as it will take ages to dry.

I know there are auctions at regular intervals.

When cooking a dinner consisting of several courses, I prefer to get half bottles, otherwise you end up with leftovers or in our case the temptation to polish off both or even worse all three if you end up getting a dessert wine. *hic*

For xmas this year, I'll be doing langoustines and rack of venison, dessert is undecided, We'll also be doing a traditional toast at midday ( which is tradition in Mr N's family) with fizz, so I don't particularly want to be muntered on xmas day.

I found a nice red, just need to come up with a white.

Maybe I've found the problem with the Daimler; it needs a delay whle starting. By turning the key halfway all the engine check lights go on, then pause a moment before switching on engine; perhaps it has time to do all its measurements before starting and so it injects the right mixture. Hmmm, seems to work OK, we shall see.

I think you need to change those slow electrons for some faster ones.

Dunno, but if I wait for the 'engine check' light to go out then it seems to work. All very strange, but it obviously isn't the electrons; engines do all sorts of measurements lke O2 and H2O content in the air, temperature etc to determine the right fuel mix. Maybe some of the measurements are bit slow. Maybe I'm just clutching at straws. Or maybe they're actually militant trade unionist electrons from Coventry and they go on strike a few times a week.
