yup - she asked and stats was mentioned. However as there are 3/4 modules to be chosen from the head of maths has decided that mechanics and decision will be taught this year.

You could reply that she had taken careers advice and that the next big growth industry (big data) requires statistics. If it wasn't going to be an option perhaps they should have advertised the fact it wasn't going to be covered rather than implying that it would be

I have absoluckingfutely no idea how this stuff works these days, what with AS levels and things like that.
