Arguing with someone from Kickstarter who has now announced that the product I backed won't work with my phone.

They will refund to Amazon or PayPal. BUT it's Amazon.com payments, which needs a US address and social security number, to leave the money in Amazon where it's useless, and they haven't got any money in their company paypal account.
