I must be a bit grumpy this morning. I keep finding myself typing out NLUK style replies to people, then realising just in time. There are some right muppets asking silly questions today though

Well, did some welding yesterday.
Not my finest effort, it must be said.
Maybe I should have used 2.5mm rods instead of the 1.6.
However, it passed the hammer test.
Broke another 4 drills making holes in the stuff.

Of my permie gig? Seemed like an interesting enough role and company, but spent the whole of my first month fixing bugs in Perl, which I had no previous experience of. I understood I'd be learning it, but it's hard to debug code when you're still trying to understand the language in the first place.
