I used to love days like that.

Now I do it all the time because I don't care if I stay or go.

I am at that stage, extension paper work still hasn't come through and not really willing it to come!

        Neither.

House is just not going anywhere until I have a buyer for mine but the other person wanting to buy the house is no better off so there is still a chance.

Work is just entertaining. If however there is a lessons learnt meeting at the end of this phase it will be a bloodbath.

Finally, the surveyor has an appointment to value the church - next Tuesday.

So they should get that to the Halifax by the end of next week.

Which give a couple of days to get the money all sorted to complete the following Thursday.

          Squeaky bum time.

            Afternoon

Lunch was so singularly uninspiring I've already forgotten what it was.

Currently sorting out a surveyor for the house we like, coupled with that report and the quote for proposed building work our FA will have some interesting negotiations ahead on the house price.

No, it works like this; the Dutch estate agents are nearly all in the same cartel, the NVM. They won't upset each other so they'll fix a price over a few drinks in the pub and then either you pay or you don't. Don't be fooled into thinking 'negotiation' enters into it.

So the seller has no say in this?
