Auctioneers won't tell me the reserve price on the house I'm after. Assuming the finances come through in principle this week, looks like I'll have to take a day off next week to go to the auction anyway.

v. v. Annoying. has legal pack arrived. The lawyers may be able to give you a clue....
Mortgage in principle offered received this afternoon. Now just need to extract equity from the current house. Unfortunately its too big to be worth renting out except as HMO which I don't really want to do so its on the market.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

I'm waiting for Freelancer Financials to crunch the numbers and come back with something - the tricky part is going to be that completion needs to be 28 days after the auction, which could be tight.
Then I can do something about selling our house - as with you, it's not really worth renting since it's too big and I'll need 100k to spend on doing the new place up.Comment
