Watered down(50/50) fabric conditioner is a handy stopgap.

Managed to get some.

Worked out the reason the smell was still lingering was because the filters in the extractor ( which is totally ineffective) were still retaining the whiff.

They are now soaking in the sink.

Got some jobs done, took eldest to a friends before lunch. Picking youngest up from school soon.
