how's the zeitmobile situation?

Two gallons of petrol isn't enough to prime a Fiat Seicento fuel pump.

Mostly coz it sits in a cup thingie.

You have to rock the car back & forth sideways to slosh some into the cup thingie.

It works then.

How it managed to work before I changed the fuel tank with less than 1 gallon in, I really dunno.

And in other news, the spongy brake pedal in the toyota got fixed by driving in reverse up the back lane & activating the ABS.

Doing the same thing whilst driving forwards didn't cure it.

Well managed to survive the first day.

Finally got a temporary laptop of sorts and will have a temp pass tomorrow.

Bit odd going to work and actually coming back home after 6 months of faffing about in blighty.
