                The items were mutually exclusive. Athough getting to clientco without wasting a day is surely a reason for being bored.

                      The RSSI output is open emitter, it needs a 10k pulldown to make it do sommat sensible.

                      Adding that makes the fecker work more or less correctly & squelches the motor control like wot I wanted.

                      Had to download the datasheet for the chip to find out why though, since the RF Solutions pdf doesn't exactly go into much detail.
