I had heard them mentioned on American films a lot and wondered what they were. Turns out they're hot dogs dipped in a cornmeal batter and deep fried, normally available at Baseball matches.
Despite the ingredients, surprisingly moreish and goes great with a chilled beer. I use Unearthed smoked hotdogs and make my batter sweet and spicy hot.
The most popular snack I bring in (and that tops the Pina Colada cookies!).
