both of us are benched atm, so not too much hassle ( apart from the noise and people traipsing though the house) , if we were working there would have been no chance of arranging to work from home at such short notice.Comment

Tried to explain that I work from home and need to be working on my computer during the day, and they offered 9-12 instead. Asked for a weekend - no, we don't do that. Asked for an evening - no, we don't do that.
Said I'd not get it done, and they said "legally, you have to. If you don't make an appointment, we'll make one for you". Can't wait until they come and I'm not answering the door because I'm working up here.....Comment
