Late start today, meeting with a pimp this morning.

As usual with these meetings I'm sure it will be a waste of time

Me too. It still hasn't started raining here, but then I'm not in Wales.

                    New printer ordered

Old one needed some new toner, so it's cheaper to sell that one on eBay and buy a new one. Now that I have a NAS, I can use that as a printer server, which means I can ditch the "must have network access" requirement

Spent hours on a project for an esteemed customer.

Garbled rs232 stuff appearing on monitoring pc.

Naturally enough, after replacing MAX232s, capacitors, wires, etc. it turned out to be the monitoring pc being stuffed in some curious way.

The P90 that's replaced it seems a bit more sensible, comms wise, after I'd made up the mandatory rs232 lead for a 25W D connector.
