we've NEVER done london before. There is a bus tour near the hotel, the river trip might be good and I think we get 20% off with our merlin cards but Id need to check.

Highly recommend a river tour, start your end and head towards Greenwich, on a weekend you can check out the market and go to the observatory.

After that we are going over to the eye.
Depending what time it is we will grab a sarnie and coffee.
Gentle walk around - maybe over to st pauls via the millennium bridge.
Then back for a shower change and the kids want to go to hard rock cafe which is just round the corner from the hotel
Buy your tickets in advance for the eye, the queues are horrendous all year round.

Its not possible to book our tickets in advance using the annual passes, so we will have to wait

You will end up waiting for ages.

You have to queue for the tickets first, it might not be too bad this time of year.

Btw if you go down covent garden you have to try Wahaca, proper fresh Mexican food and cheap to boot.

Zippy, Cojak and I have been there quite a few times ( not far from the Ship and Shovell)
