Well, there is that

I had to suggest that while I work on the permanent fix, they switch off the offending functionality, which is a two second functional change.

No-one had thought of that - their suggestion was to go back to an earlier patch, which causes other problems, and deal with those (which fail and they know about, but the users are oblivious to) rather than have angry users.

Thanks. Just waiting for the paperwork - client has emailed the agent and told them to raise the paperwork and get it sorted.

There may be a bit more after this month, but we're now at the stage of being on a month-by-month contract because they aren't sure what more is in the pipeline.
