They also denied that there was a problem with the site, but miraculously, after I told them about it and hounded them for a day, the site fixed itself with no-one doing anything.
What are the odds of that happening, eh?Comment

I've migrated onto a UK-based host now, though, so at least support are likely to be awake when I need them, rather than having to work US hours to get problems solved.Comment

New site is running nicely - got the Wordpress database working fine (even managed a blog post this morning!!) and got the forum running again, with the latest versions.Comment

Unfortunately, by changing nameservers to the new host, it's no longer looking at the MX records that I had setup with the old hosts, which means I can't use Google Apps to get email properly any more.Comment

So now I have the site hosted in the UK, which is running fine. BUT because I haven't migrated the domain to the new host as well, I have no access to the MX records for GApps.Comment
