Stone me, it's difficult printing out this CadStar stuff.

They have many & unusual ways of fecking up the file name system.

A true classic, which I have not encountered before, is to name your pcb file as "AY.PCB2".

This kills CadStar with a vengeance, until you remove the "2" from the extension.

Whereupon it works again.

Mind blowing.

I watched something on ITV recently. Can't remember what it was, or even how the TV happened to get tuned to that channel.

ClientCo actually managed to find a genuine fault today

Well - they say it's a fault, I say that it's a flaw in their business process, which I've highlighted

It's a two minute fix, which I think I've already made, but it will no doubt take them another 3 months to test.

I appear to have 26 sets of CadStar files.

This is rather fewer than I'd expected.

They also deliberately switched off all the debugging that I had turned on so I could see what the programs were doing when they "failed".
