        Crikey. My current trip is 120 miles each way; so I avail myself of Travelodge's finest during the week. I hope that now the small people are not being educated for the summer the journey home of a Friday should be marginally quicker!

        2:45 today, which isn't too bad really. SatNav says it should take 2:17; it takes 2:00 on a Monday morning.
