One piece of coursework I was given required me to program a rudimentary control system in C. Told the lecturer I'd never done any C and he said words to the effect of 'you've got a bit of time to learn it, now bugger off'. I did and I did.+50 Xeno Geek Points

I'm not actually doing this for him.
I'm doing it for me, to keep what remains of my brain alive. Ish.
I'll be interested to see how far he gets before the gotchas get him.
He won't be using much of what I've developed really.
Plus we want sommat working so we can chuck it in the river & track it on google maps.
Or at least that's the theory.
