      Now that's an original thought.

      He will, of course, be repeating this tortuous development process next week, now that I've figured out the gotchas.

      One of the existing gotchas is the advice I gave him about how to parse the GPS sentence.

      It was just slightly incorrect.

      I suggested strcmp instead of strstr.

      Oooops.

      Only slightly different.

        Plus I think he's unaware of the 2k compiler limit.

        Which is yet another gotcha.
