Just had an email from an esteemed customer who wanted to print out some manuals for his project submission:
PIC16F877 manual: 218 pages.
TM1 gsm modem manual: 150 pages. (It took 45 minutes to load this into the printer when I printed it 2 up double sided leaflet on A4).Comment

It also took me about 4 goes before I found out how to do it so that the pages were all the right way up, rather than half of them being inverted.
I wish I'd written down somewhere how I did it.Comment

I told him to put the stuff on 2 CDRs.
Save the planet & all that.
Aside from all of which, it's supposed to be in today so he's cutting it a tad fine.Comment

I'm very confused & baffled about GSM, modems, GPRS, PPP, TCP/IP, stacks and lots of things like that.
So far, all I've managed to make the modem do is the bog standard dial up style thingie.
I feel stupid.Comment
