I seem to remember that I've got some zonking great valve in the shed somewhere.

Of course, the challenge will be finding the damn thing.

Easier than I expected.

It was exactly where I thought it was. Most unusual.

Other people just go to IKEA or B&Q at the weekend. Not our Zeity though.

I went to B&Q on Saturday.

It would be a shame to have nothing to do next week.

Since it transpired that the large lump of brass & stuff was, in fact, not a valve at all but a flow sensor, I shall now have to generate a purchase order for the one I found in the RS site last week.

Oh the stress, the stress.

I may have to have a lie down afterwards to cope.

I only do mildly tipsy these days.

And that I can achieve on two bottles of Old Peculier.

There was a mildly interesting letter in this week's New Scientist from someone who says that he can't taste bitter flavours.

I think he was trying to explain the growth in popularity of these over hopped beers that are appearing.

Lemon juice would be cheaper.
