I had the gardner in last week. Asked him to tidy up the wood at the bottom of the garden.
Patio now has a BIG pile of branches (10ft x 10ft) Called the hire place for a chipper thing, 200.00 a day to hire FFS.
Any suggestions?
How thick are the branches? If they are only a couple of inches then you can buy a garden chipper for half that, if not less.
Bonfire.
Put some of the pile at the bottom of the garden as a Hedgehog den.
Long thin branches work well as garden canes.

It's probably your soil. My garden is stuffed with plants that are far too big for it but I can't kill them. All the local mogs and foxes have had a go too.
