I've been a forum admin before and we noticed that the board went in cycles, people would disappear, the board would go quiet, then after a while new people would join, old members would return and things would get busy again. Rinse and repeat. I never figured out if there were reasons for it like weather, holiday seasons etc but there were definitely noticeable phases the board would go through. -
