Just had the carp scared out of me.

I walked into the conservatory just as the snow on the house roof slid off and landed on the conservatory roof.

That happened at Mullys in Manchester. However it was a man sized piece of lead sheeting that brought down half of the guttering!

Many years ago, I was travelling along the A45 (in a Taxi) in snowy conditions behind an articulated Lorry (too close) and the snow on the lorry's roof blew/slid off and took out the windscreen (Which exploded). The Taxi driver slowed down a touch while he cleared off some of the snow and glass, Ripped out the windscreens rubber seal and tossed it on the passenger seat, Turned to me and said "We'll have to take it slow to Monmouth, I've lost my windscreen" as if I hadn't noticed!

I was bleedin freezin when I got there, the tears of laughter had frozen on my cheeks
