I managed not to be killed by an avalanche of junk in the storeroom.
The thing I wanted was on the far side of the room.
It required climbing on racking to get to it.

Tiddley pom ti pom.
Student recently informed me that he required a 1F (one Farad) capacitor for a tuned circuit.
After I'd blanched a bit, I did some calculations.
Turns out it was a calculator driving error, and 1uF (one million times smaller) will do the job.
Not only that, but we've got some in the stores.
I had a feeling in my water that there was something wrong with his calculations.Comment
