Ah.
Just cleared up a small foible with the temperature sensor thingie.
It "worked" as originally designed, but I couldn't null the offsets.
All down to the common mode input voltage range of the LM358.
It's only good down to +0.3V.
I get +0.25V (25 deg C) to +0.37V (body temperature) out of the AD595 thermocouple amplifier.
Ho hum.
Changing the opamp to a TLC272 (what my predeceased predecssor had purchased at some time or other) fixed it.
The CMIV range for a TLC272 includes 0V.

I have officially become the Wilmslow of electronic engineering.
