I'm getting the hang of muon riding now.

If, when you get off, you give it some backspin at right-angles to the plane of motion on the time axis, it can't use intertia to move to the next quantum time instance and instead bounces between the two.

You can then come back later, clamber back on, give a little twirl to counter the back spin and whhooooosssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! you're off time travelling again.
