Right, that's all the damn paperwork sorted out

Odd how one still thinks of it as paperwork, even though it involved saving a bunch of emailed receipts to text files, zipping them all up, calculating some figures, and sending an email with the zip file attached - not a piece of paper in sight, yet it still feels as if I've been running back and forth to the scanner

Anyway, that's my cue to get my bag packed ready for the morning, a Friday in the office, and best of all, the journey home

If there's one thing that can make the A14 bearable, it's the knowledge that it's taking you home. It still sucks, but it's more like having your teeth drilled in the hope of future good, unlike the start of the week when it's like having your limbs amputated (something which happens to an unsettlingly large number of people involved in accidents on that road) for no very good reason.

Haven't found it yet and I don't have any more time today to spend looking for it.

The gist was that in the middle of a handbagging session he popped up and said when anyone questions his abilities being a young contractor he shows them some of the threads on here and asks if they really think the older contractors are going to be better.
