    Fair enough. That's being thick.

People can't talk on mobiles and pay attention to the world around them. I've seen people on railway platforms chattering away and doing that wandering around thing, right up to the edge of the platform. In the distance the non-stopping express to Charing Cross is thundering towards us and I'm thinking "please don't let that hit you because I'll never get the stains out"

You had me worried for a moment there.

It looked like you were on the edge of showing compassion for complete strangers but you managed to pull things back at the last minute.

Well, well. That is a surprise.

There is no drivel in me today. I have made a couple of tentative starts but they have come to nothing.

Perhaps I should concentrate on doing something useful instead?

Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

I think I might have spent too much time in London

Right, I'd better get in the TPD Time Machine™ and see what I've missed.
