Because it's the easiest one to recognise - if you want to get a very young person interested in constellations, you show them Orion; that belt is so easy to spot. Once they've got the hang of that one, they'll start looking for the others - and that's what I did

Aye. We had a lovely moon here for a bit and now it is obscured by cloud. Still cold though.

The Moon was looking rather lovely this morning too.
