          Cheers All, I'd pass on your well wishes but I doubt that she would understand
          a) who you are
          b) how you know
          c) who monkey is
          d) why a nun looks well fit

            If adopting a positive mental attitude helps then it cannot be a bad thing. If you feel good about yourself and release the "happy hormones" it is surely better than feeling down.

            Whether it actually aids recovery or not may be debatable because if it gives you the will the fight and beat it this may lend some strength to the case

              Some years ago, I can remember my science teacher talking about his mother in law, who'd been given a couple of months to live.

              She read somewhere about the "power" of drinking sea water, and made the family bring her back some from the beach.

              7 years later, she was still going strong.
