About three-quarters of an hour to install, and now a few more minutes to install the new version of Developer Tools

All of my personal settings have been preserved, right down to being able to re-open all windows and tabs from before the install in Safari

One application is incompatible, and has been moved safely out of the way: Parallels Desktop 2.5. As that version is two or three years old, I'd been planning to upgrade anyway, so that's OK

Mail has taken a couple of minutes to upgrade my mailboxes - not too surprising, given that there's nearly 2 Gig of stuff in there

Software Update has a few bits for me: better install those once Dev Tools has finished
