I've got one of those mains thingys as well. They're really good.

I have never fancied the idea in the past; it strikes me as a little 'brave'. If something goes wrong, how bad might the damage be?

The alternative was a WiFi extender but the Missus said "Oh great, another device needing configuring " so I put that back on the shelf.

It makes a change to use a piece of kit that you just plug in and it works.

I'll put it down under "What did you do while on the bench".

The BBC News people do an excellent job of keeping their story headlines short so as to fit on the home page neatly, but sometimes they take it a little too far: the England news currently has a link saying "Mystery Over Man Found In Street".

Did everybody think he was at home or something?
