      Yes, as a business decision it was definitely a good move on their behalf, but it effectively killed the hobby in the uk,out side of their own games.

      I do think they would have stayed in business and benefitted from the growing popularity of RPG's that they effectivly killed, but would probably not have made as much money out of it.

                Were there no other competing vendors of these products at that time? I remember Virgin Megastores in Birmingham had a good RPG section at one time.

                It's a shame there isn't more competition really - if only to force their prices down a bit! I read an investment assessment of them a couple of years back that rated them highly due to their loyal customer base and lack of competition.
