As usual I managed to do precisely none of the things I'd intended to get done

Ah well, the recycling can be taken to the tip another time, and as it's raining there wouldn't have been much point washing the car

Met up with my sister in Alderley Edge yesterday to pick up her dog, which we're looking after for a couple of weeks while she's in Croatia. Spent a pleasant afternoon there walking, but will need to return at some point to explore it more thoroughly.

Today I met my brother at the station and took him over to our parents place, where we all enjoyed a wonderful home cooked meal, courtesy of my mum, and an afternoon of catching up.

A good weekend all in all, despite not getting round to some of the stuff I needed to do - like picking up DS2's new bike from Halfords
