Fate seems to be in "sending along people I haven't seen in ages" mode - tonight, I was accosted on the street by a chap I used to work with in a pub a good few years ago

Oddly enough, I was thinking of him just a few weeks back and wondering how he was doing these days. It was good to catch up with him, if only briefly

I had a similar thing recently - a couple of weeks ago I'd been wondering about a family that I knew many, many, many years ago, and low and behold a few days later one of the daughters got in touch with me via Friends Reunited

Well it seems I have a workaround. Alas that workaround is to ditch Windows Communication Foundation and revert to remoting.
