I just hope I'm not next on Fate's list
I remember how a few years ago one of my oldest friends - from student days, in fact - expressed her astonishment that despite everything I'd subjected my corporeal presence to, I was still in the rudest of health.
I admitted that it was surprising, and conjectured that I must have the constitution of an ox.
She appraised me for a second or so, then declared "No, you've got the constitution of a brick. Everything just bounces off you."
Here's hoping it carries on that wayComment
