Thank you all for this <gulp> great honour....
I have only recently joined the ranks of TPD-ers aiming for the "Century".
and in this albeit short time I have faced the utter humiliation of being
pipped at the post by true "TPD Legends"....
My facination for the "Century" was born, probably similar to many of you,
when early in my TPD career I spoted the "Century Banners" and was intrigued
by "WTF is that all about" then on a couple of occasions I was
"close" almost by accident.... until one day early this year I
"worked it out".....
My early Century Hunting was characterised by lurking quietly and having
a last minute punt... or more usually pulling out at the last minute....
<pause for snigger>
Recently I have tried a different tactic of posting repeatedly many, many,
short posts in an attempt to creep up on the target.... a tactic frustrated
at least twice in the past few days - a saluatory lesson from "The Masters"...
I would like to take this oportunity of thanking:
DaveB - for his masterful poach on Friday
VooDooFlux for all his support over many Centuries
Brillo - for well just being there....
