I have come to the conclusion that the franchise is now the prime demonstration of the multiverse concept...

It's plain to me that every time they time warp into the past that it must be a different universe, since never once have I seen a transmission of STTOS in DS9, Voyager, STNG or Enterprise...

Plainly this implies that rather than visiting their own past they must in fact be visiting the past of a different universe where STTOS is not broadcast 24hrs a day from every satellite in the Clarke belt.
