I've had this rant before.

The NHS only recruits ex-NHS people to work on projects.

I have had many arguments with these "Health Infomatics Professionals" in the past. I firmly believe they are hard-working, conscientious, incompetent, deluded fools.

"The NHS is unique with unique issues". Bollocks.

"We cannot use OGC standard processes because we're a special case". Bollocks.

"We have to have failed or struck off ex-medical people to run our projects because only they really understand". That's why all health projects are an abortion.

Yes, that is my professional opinion.

Had one call from an agent asking if I spoke Welsh!! - did it say anywhere on my CV I spoke Welsh? NO !......he just thought he would ask as I had a Welsh sounding name......
