Another bank holiday is drawing to an end

Still, there's another one in three weeks

Last week was the first week on this contract that I've worked five days - there was Good Friday, then Easter Monday, then my birthday

Bank holidays? Pah! A tax on small businesses and the self-employed!


Oops. Happy birthday. I really must attend more.

Was just looking at the T.V. schedule for this evening.

Bank holidays were always great for T.V. "when I were a lad" and you were pretty much guaranteed a Bond movie or something similar. There looks to be naff all on the terestrial channels this evening though. Fortunately Rupert (or James) Murdoch kindly beam 100's of channels of alternative crap into my home for my viewing pleasure.

And, amazingly enough, there's still feck all to watch...

At a cost of at least £20/month on top of the BBC tax.
