Yup - managed to pull one of those stunts where one hunts an inexplicable bug for ages, finally asks one of the permies to have a look, and immediately spots one's idiotic mistake with their first question

Then we had a team meeting - one for the whole team working on the package of which this project is a part. It was revealed that, being on target to spend almost all of the budget they were allocated for this financial year's work (ends July), they're almost certain to get a similar budget for next year, which bodes well for the possibility of an extension

Time for me to head off to the pub for dinner - have a good evening
