A year or two ago, I picked up seasons one and two of The Shield at a discount. Season three was not yet on the cheapskate price, so I bided my time
A while later, I found season four at a discount and snapped it up.
You can probably see where I'm going if you're familiar with the set of natural numbers
Having watched seasons one and two, I naturally sought season three - only to discover that I hadn't actually bought it yet
Today, I rectified this omission; and to add some substance to the suggestion that all things come to he who waits, I found that not only was season three available at the cheapskate price, but season five was also available at said price - whereas season four, which I had already bought cheapskate-style, was back at full price
It suggests that HMV's pricing policy is in a state of some disorder, but the fact remains that I now have the first five seasons, all at cheapskate price because they don't know how to cheapskate things consistently
Anyway, whatever the underlying systems may be that have led me to this fortunate outcome, the fact remains that I am now going to take up from where I left off some months ago, and start watching season three of The Shield
<- this is what it's about, for those who don't know - in fact, that pretty much defines every episodeLast edited by NickFitz; 18 April 2009, 02:07.Comment
