I usually half fill the bath with hot water and steriliser and just leave the bottles and other gubbins to soak for 20 mins, then drain and repeat with clean water. Works a treat as long as the bottles were "clean" to start with i.e no dried on yeast or other muck from the last brew.
I usually barrel my brews rather than bottling though. Much quicker and easier
