I know what you mean about it taking longer to 'recover' from a night out. I got carried away with the port on Friday night and then went ' out' on Saturday and took things really easy. I put it down to having the kids but I suppose it is really 'cause I'm getting older.

The other thing I always eat after a drink and the two togeather is not good for the diet.

Same here - except I puked all the pizza I ate on Friday when I got home... I figure puked pizza = no calories consumed

I don't even have the kids excuse... I reckon if I am this bad now, when I do eventually have babies, I will have to become teetotal!
