My USB wireles mouse was spiffy.

The docking station pugged into the USB port and when the mouse was in the cradle it charged up the two AAA batteries in it. So, I could change the batteries in the mouse for non-rechargables if I wanted.

Sadly, it came with cheapo Chinese batteries which I left in there for a couple of mouths. They leaked their guts out and wrecked the circuit board inside the mouse.

As ever, Chinese crap.

Second night in a row...

Blimey! That was some steak!

It must have been a different chef tonight - some strange, green leafy matter (possibly watercress, although I'm no expert in these things) had been perched on the edge of the plate

Luckily it had been suitably positioned so as to avoid contaminating any of the food, so I ignored it

For some reason everywhere in Wiltshire (that we have been) puts the same sort of vegetation on all the food, regardless of which course it is - from cooked breakfast, through soup to desert.

It is some sort of huge-leafed clover.

You know those pretty little posies little girls give to the Queen? You get given a clump of this stuff that's just about big enough to be used as the greenery in one of them posies.

Oddly, I cannot find any growing in the hedgerows or lanes - so the mentalists must be buying it from somewhere.

Just joined. Can't find a way to display by photo, which is probably a blessing. I used to use the "old" contractor uk board back in 2000/1. This is a great improvement on that piece of sh.t!
