We used to go on narrowboat holidays a few times a year (who'd be a permie?). By this time of day I could expect to have 2 or 3 pints inside me, especially in the summer months. I could have been drinking for 4 hours by now. And I'd meet people at the locks already drunk. Sometimes they'd not be on boats.
