Although we know what a 'post' is, we do not know what is meant by a 'view'.
Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.

But, since the purpose of the exercise is to to determine the most popular thread(s), it does not matter what a view is terribly much.

What we need is some way of measuring threads against one another in terms of relative popularity. The 'view' will suffice for this purpose.

Measured purely on views, the Light Relief thread 'test please delete' with its 1,108,807 views would seem to be the most popular.

Anther popular thread, 'Poll: BN66 - Time to fight back (Chapter 3)' has had 133,257 views for a mere 1,900 posts. This means it has attracted 70 views per post compared to TPD's 7 views per post.

Surely this suggests BN66 is a far more popular subject?

Clearly (as a politician might chiche) more digging is required.

                  Most popular thread(s)

The Sticky Thread "Everything you ever wanted to know about umbrella companies but were afraid to ask..." has only had 32 posts but has gained 15,874 views - a ratio of 496 views per post.

                  Does one exclude sticky posts?

Or are sticky posts sticky because they are known to be popular?
