Just waiting for a certain insurance company to call me back so we can discuss why I appear to have been paying over the odds for our buildings and contents insurance, and why they appear to have estimated the rebuild cost for our house at double what it should be.
Then I have to go shopping with the kids.Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment

Fish and chips for dinner...
This is the third chip shop I've tried up here so far. The Fountain is OK, although the batter wasn't really up to scratch. I haven't tried the fish from the Little Fisherman yet, but the chips looked distinctly unprepossessing, although they tasted OK. Now to try Murgatroyd's...Comment

Overall, probably the best of the three I've tried so far - however, it's also the most expensive. Still, like the Fountain, it's just over the road from the hotel, so it may be a bit of a toss-up between them in future.
Unlike the others, there's a Murgatroyd's web site: "If tha' doesn't like this lot, there's summat wrong wi' thee"Comment

As you can possibly imagine, I can personally vouch for quite a few. The one (now two) at the Black Country Museum are rather good, though that is directly attributable to their use of beef drippingWhere are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?Comment
