I decided against getting up at 0530 to get the train. Went for 0610, and drove instead!

The walk from ClientCo car park to office is longer than from Bus Stop to office though.

Thats the way to do it.

I will leave at 14:30. It is when taxi driver goes home. No trains and no mini cabs.

At the football today, the away supporters sit high in the gods directly behind where I sit. Whilst there is undeniably great tension between the fans in the biggest derby game in the country (awaits 5*, VF and probably other to contradict this ) there was evidence of coins being thrown from the away fans into the area where I sit.

Never seen this from any other supporters this season. Not nice for anyone but particularly those that had young children there.

The black country derby can get quite tasty I enjoy it though as we tend to win.

The violence though is unnecessary and worrying - I suspect that if such people didn't use football as an excuse then they'd find some other way of behaving like cocks.

I've been fortunate to only encounter one such moment at an away game at Reading, which foruntately didn't escalate into anything other than some rather unsavoury threats.

It was finished my busiest month yesterday ... hadn't had a proper few drinks for ages!! But I think I went a little bit overboard

I've registered to run the Manchester 10k this year so am going to go on a proper fitness regime which will include toning down the beer...
